NA Body Constitutes Sub-committee To Resolve Issues Of Electricity

(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Feb, 2017) on Water and Power on Thursday constituted a sub-committee to resolve the issues of electricity of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO). The committee met here at Parliament Lodges under the chairmanship of MNA Muhammad Arshad Khan Leghari.
The members of the committee including MNA Muhammad Junaid Anwaar Chaudhry, MNA Lt. Col. (R) Ghulam Rasul Sahi, MNA Junaid Akbar, MNA Salim Rehman, MNA Maulana Muhammad Gohar Shah and MNA Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqub also attended the meeting, besides officials of Ministry of Water and Power.
The sub-committee would be headed by MNA Sahibazada Muhammad Yaqub. While Junaid Akbar, Salim Rehman and Maulana Muhammad Gohar Shah would be the member of sub-committee. The committee also discussed the pertaining issues of PESCO regarding system constraints, low voltage, over billing and replacement of defective transformers & meters.
The sub-committee will submit its report to the Standing Committee within 30 session days.
