Thunderstorm-rain Forecaset For KP

PESHAWAR, Feb 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Feb, 2017 ) : The Met Office on Thursday forecast mainly cold and cloudy weather in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for next 24 hours. However widespread rain thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, DI Khan, Tank, Abbottabad ,Hari Pur, Mansehra, Battagram, Kohistan ,Torghar, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Malakand, Bunner, Shangla, Swat, Chitral, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, Charsadda ,Nowshera Districts and Bajaur, Khyber, Kurram, Mohmand, Orakzai, North & South Waziristan Agency in FATA for next 24 to 48 hours.
The mercury level would further decline during the 48 hours in most parts of the region due to mainly cloudy weather. The weather remained dry but cloudy during the last 24 hours and no rainfall was reported from any part of the province or FATA.
The minimum temperature remained -6 C in Parachinar and Kalam, -4 C in Malam Jabba, -2 C in Dir, -1 C in Chitral, 6 C in Peshawar, Saidu Sharif, Bannu, Risalpur and Cherat and 10 C in DI Khan.
