Deer, Birds Hunting Banned In Mithi

MITHI, Feb 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2017 ) : Member Sindh Assembly Dr. Mahesh Kumar has said that hunting of deer and bird had been prohibited in 940 kilometers area of Tharparkar.

He said that the Secretary Wild Life has also issued a notification in this regard upon the directives of Sindh Chief Minister.

The provincial legislator in a statement Wednesday informed that the area has been named as Chinkara Wildlife Sanctuary.

He further said that the ban had been imposed in North from Wajatto to Chahlihaar, in East Chalihaar to Bhorelo, in South Bhorelo to Mithi and in West Mithi to Wajatto. He said that the action has been taken to protect the breeding of deers that are in abundance in these notified areas.
