DC Inaugurates Patient Referral Service

MULTAN, Feb 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2017 ) : Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatha inaugurated the patient referral service in the district to shift the patients from one hospital to another.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, DC Nadir Chatha termed it a good initiative taken by the Punjab government and added that service would be an additional facility for masses.

He said that ambulances would be available round the clock and announced that two ambulances at THQ Jalalpur, two at THQ Shujabad, two at civil hospital, one at Mian Shahbaz Sharif hospital, one at Fatima Jinnah and one at kidney centre would remain present under patient referral service.

DEO Rescue 1122 Dr Kaleemullah said that Rescue 1122 would operate the health department ambulances for safely shifting patients from one hospital to another.
