3rd All Pakistan Malik Saad National Women Cricket Tournament To Be Held This Year: Javed Marwat

PESHAWAR, Feb 1 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2017 ) : The 3rd edition of the All-Pakistan Malik Saeed Shaheed National Women cricket Tournament will be organized this year with participation of top eight teams.
This was stated by Senior Member Trustee Malik Saad Shaheed sports Trust while talking to APP here on Wednesday soon after presiding over the eight Annual General Council Meeting with coordinators from various districts and three tribal agencies.
He said last year in the second edition of the National Women Cricket Tournament, four teams took part but this year a total of eight top teams would be invited for the prestigious national event.
He disclosed that they have planned number of national events with provincial events to be organized under the banners of Malik Saad Shaheed Sports Trust. Javed Marwat said that an All Pakistan Football Tournament, DIG Abid Ali Shah Kabaddi, DPO Shaheed Iqbal Marwat Basketball, IG Police Iner-Academy Cricket will be organized in Bannu, and Peshawar.
He said to pay tribute to the Shuhada of Police many more tournaments named after Shuhad-e-Police will be organized during the yearly Calendar. The house also approved visit of the members to various countries besides inviting delegates to visit Pakistan.
The members' trustees have also given approval for the last year budget. The house also expressed satisfactory over the so far work done by the trust during the year-2016. Muhammad Javed Marwat said that the performance of the trust is par excellent during the year-2016 and expressed the hope that the members trustees would continue their efforts in their respective areas to work more hard.
At the end, Javed Marwat awarded Rs. 25000 each to hockey and football players who recently represented national teams. APP/ijz/ahn
