Court awards life imprisonment to accused

SARGODHA, Feb 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2017 ) : Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Khalil issued an order of life imprisonment to the accused involved in a murder case here on Wednesday.

According to court sources, the accused Amir Omer of Jhal Chakian along with his four accomplices Zahid, Shakeel, Imtiaz and Sikandar had gunned down their opponent Muhammad Asif over enmity.

After hearing the arguments court sentenced 25 years imprisonment to culprit Amir Omer along with a fine of Rs 200,000.

The court acquitted Zahid, Shakeel, Imtiaz and Sikandar over advantage of doubt. APP/mab/msh/gmf/anm
