PAL To Organize Workshop On Fiction Writing

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july,2016) : Pakistan academy of Letters (PAL) will organize a three-day training workshop on fiction writing for the young writers from August 10.
An official of Academy told APP that the participation in the workshop will be free of cost and participants can acquire accommodation facility at writers house. However, the Academy would not pay the expenses of accommodation and meals, he said.
On the completion of training workshop, certificates would also be distributed among participants. During workshops, renowned scholars and writers would deliver lectures, he said.
Fiction writing is the composition of non-factual prose texts. Fictional writing often is produced as a story meant to entertain or convey an author's point of view. The result of this may be a short story, novel, novella, screenplay, or drama, which are all types (though not the only types) of fictional writing styles.
Different types of authors practice fictional writing, including novelists, playwrights, short story writers, dramatists and screenwriters.
