KP Industries To Get 80 MW Electricity By September: Advisor

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jan, 2017 ) : Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Industries Abdul Karim Khan on Tuesday said that work on 17 industrial zones are in full swing policy and by September 2017, 80 MW of electricity would be given to industries.
Presiding over a meeting to review progress on projects under department of industry, he said that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed for 225 MW power generation projects in KP.
The meeting took various important decisions regarding package for revival of sick industrial units under CPEC and promotion of industries across the province.
On the occasion, Abdul Karim said that 4,000 acre of land between Kernal Sher Kally and Marrey for establishment of industrial zone, while roads are being constructed to connected Mega City with Nowshera and Swabi districts.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Farrah Hamid, CE KP Economic Zone Development Management Company Mohsin Sayed and other officials.
