Two POs Killed In Encounter

RAJANPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jan, 2017 ) : Two proclaimed offenders were killed by the firing of their own accomplices during a shootout with police at Kutcha area of tahsil Rojhan Mazari, district Rajanpur early in the morning on Monday.
DPO Hafiz Irfanullah Marwat told APP that police received information that about 15 dacoits of Lund gang having links with Chotu gang were plotting to attack police in Kutcha area of Rojhan Mazari in the precincts of Omarkot police station, a police party raided the place when criminals opened fire.
The firing by outlaws led to encounter which continued for around two hours during which two dacoits were found dead by the firing of their own accomplices.
While their accomplices managed to escape.
Police have taken the bodies of dacoits into custody. Police did not disclose the identity of the deceased dacoits but said that they were involved in many heinous nature offenses including encounters with police and FIRs stood registered with different police stations.
The DPO said that operation 'Zarb-e-Ahan 2' has been accelerated for the arrest of the hardened criminals and the dacoits who had escaped today.
