DDC Approves 75 Schemes Worth Rs 434 Million

VEHARI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : The district development committee (DDC) has accorded approval to 75 schemes which will be completed with a cost of Rs 434.1 million. The DDC meeting was chaired by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Ali Akbar Bhatti here on Thursday. A total of 40 different schemes of upgradation of educational institutes were presented in the committee where five schemes were rejected and 35 approved which would be completed with a cost of Rs 391.1 millions.
Similarly, 40 schemes of tufftile and sewerage were presented and all were approved which would be completed with a cost of Rs 43 millions. The DCO directed officers concerned to complete all development schemes within the given time frame.
He said that there would be no compromise on standard of material. DO Planning Muhammad Muzaffar Khan, EDO Works Khawaja Muhammad Sadiq, EDO education Shaukat Ali Tahir, ADLG Muhammad Ashfaq Gill and other concerned officers were also present.
