Sewerage Water Affecting Fish In River Chenab

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jan, 2017 ) : Sewerage and poisonous water entering into river Chenab and its canals, is badly affecting growth of fish in the river. According to Fisheries department sources on Saturday, sewerage water is entering into river Chenab and its canals from different areas of city including Surij Miani, Muzaffarabad, Sameejaabad and Langrial Basti.
Polluted water of factories was effecting cage culture of fish growth in rivers and canals, sources said. The department appealed the people to keep the river and canals clean so that fish growth could be increased.
