KARACHI, (Pakistan Point News - APP - 27th Jan, 2017 ) : The government has approved reverse osmosis (RO) plant for one million gallons daily water supply for journalists' Hawksbay Housing Scheme. This was stated by the Additional Director General of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), Agha Maqsood Abbas, during his visit to the Karachi Press Club, an official of SBCA said on Friday. He said that the Government has approved R.O. Plant for One Million Gallon Daily Water Supply for Journalist's Hawksbay Housing Scheme and funds have also been allocated for the same.
The construction of the plant will start in March and will be completed in one year, he added. He said that Provincial Minister Jam Khan Shoro has released funds for the construction of R.O. Plant. All the requirements of Journalist Colony will be fulfilled with one million gallon water. Agha Maqsood further pointed out that it has been decided that One Window System will be established in Sindh Building Control Authority to facilitate the approval of Site Plan for the construction of Journalist's Houses. He said that his Department will fully cooperate for the availability of the other facilities. Agha Maqsood Abbas said that facilities for sports activities would also be provided. He said that the very purpose of the SBCA is to control illegal and haphazard constructions.
