LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) :The position of river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma, along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages. According to the WAPDA press release on Thursday, Rivers: Indus at Tarbela-Inflows 242200 cusecs and Outflows 215000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 43800 cusecs and Outflows 43800 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla- Inflows 43200 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala- Inflows 143900 cusecs and Outflows 129300 cusecs. Barrages: Jinnah-Inflows 275100 cusecs and Outflows 267300 cusecs, Chashma -Inflows 270500 cusecs and Outflows 240000 cusecs, Taunsa- Inflows 236500 cusecs and Outflows 210900 cusecs, Panjnad- Inflows 28900 cusecs and Outflows 13600 cusecs, Guddu- Inflows 206700 cusecs and Outflows 172700 cusecs, Sukkur- Inflows 157800 cusecs and Outflows 101900 cusecs, Kotri- Inflows 129100 cusecs and Outflows 89600 cusecs.

Reservoirs: Level and Storage: Tarbela- Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1516.30 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 4.495 million acre feet (MAF). Mangla- Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1231.55 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.588 MAF. Chashma- Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 645.60 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.156 MAF. The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours.
