Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jan, 2017 ) : The prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the Federal capital here on Friday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 25 per kilogram, Onion Rs 31, Tomato Rs 35, Ginger Rs 100, Garlic (China) Rs 296, Garlic Local 360, Lemon Rs 66, Pumpkin Rs 66, Brinjal Rs 44, Peas Rs 70, Fresh Bean Rs 49, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 55, Cucumber Rs 52, Capsicum Rs 78/65, Green Chilli Rs 64, Cauliflower Rs 29/20, Cabbage Rs 31, Bitter Gourd Rs 115,Green Zucchini Rs 80, Spinach Rs 18/14,Raddish Rs 15, Turnip Rs 23, Yam Rs 70, Maroo Rs 45, Carrot Rs 24, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 129.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 125/90, Apple Golden Rs 105/65, Apple White Rs 92/58, Apple China Rs 155/120, Banana Pak Rs 92/50, Grapes Toffee Rs 158/130, Guava 88/55, Pomegranate Rs 180/125, Musumi Rs 155/120, Shakri Rs 168/125, Kino Rs 70/46, Fruiter Rs 96/60, Pear China Rs 145/120.
The people are asked to ensure that they are sold vegetables and fruits as per rate list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
