KINGSTON UPON HULL, United Kingdom, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jan, 2017 ) - Manchester United will face Southampton in the League Cup final after coming through 3-2 on aggregate against Hull, despite losing 2-1 in Thursday's second leg of their semi-final.
Tom Huddlestone opened the scoring for the hosts and Oumar Niasse scored late on but Paul Pogba's goal midway through the second-half gave United the breathing space they required against the Premier League strugglers. The February 26 final will evoke memories of the 1976 FA Cup final which saw then second-tier Southampton shock United 1-0.
