400 More Family Health Centres To Be Set Up In Province: Minister

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Provincial Minister for Population Welfare and Higher education Begum Zakia Shahnawaz has said the Punjab government is implementing population welfare programme. She expressed these views during her visit to Regional Training Institute for Population Welfare Madina Town, Family Health Clinic Allied Hospital and Family Welfare Center Bawa Chak here Thursday.
MPAs Madiha Rana, Surya nasim, DO Population Welfare Ferkhanda Almas, Principal Regional Training Institute Dr Rahila Kokab and other officers were also present. The minister checked performance of family health centers and met with students at the institute. She said balance between population and available resources was imperative for national and economic development. The minister said that 400 more family health centers would be set up in the province and number of total family health centers would be raised to more than 2,000.
