PHF Appoints Saeed As Manager, Usman Secretary Of Women Team

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has appointed Saeed Khan and Muhammad Usman as the manager and secretary, respectively for the national women hockey team.
Their immediate international assignment is the 4th Women's Asian Hockey Federation Cup in Bangkok, Thailand, to be held from October 1 to 9, said a press release issued by PHF on Thursday.
Saeed Khan was the member of two World Cup winning teams, 1978 and 1982.
He was the coach of the Pakistan team, when it last won the World Cup in 1994. Usman was the member of the victorious side of 1994 World Cup. He has been serving as the coach of the national women side since 2012. They will be observing the performance of the players during the 29th National Women's Hockey Championship to be played at Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium, Islamabad from August 5 to 12.
