KP Governor Directs To Address People Problems In Getting CNIC

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jan, 2017 ) : Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that delay in issuance of computerised national identitity cards (CNIC) to the people of FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is intolerable and under pretext of fake ID Cards genuine Pakistani citizens should not be inconvenienced.
He was talking to DG NADRA Peshawar, Gohar Ahmed Khan who called on him here at Governor House on Thursday. Principal Secretary to Governor, Sikandar Qayyum was also present on the occasion. DG NADRA briefed the governor regarding issuing procedures of CNIC and assured him of corrective measures.
It is worth mentioning here that the governor has taken serious notice of the complaints regarding non issuance of CNIC and also contacted Interior Ministry to redress the grievances of masses.
Meanwhile, Chairman Governor Inspection Team, Muhammad Mushtaq Jadoon had a farewell call on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra here at Governor House on Thursday. KP Governor appreciated his services as head of the team and wished him success in his future endeavors. APP/mds/adn
