Govt Reduced Power Loadshedding Throughout Country: Abid

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali has said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government had reduced visible power loadshedding throughout the country. Talking to a private tv channel, he said the government has been providing uninterrupted power supply to all industries and also working to remove all faults of transmission lines. He said 8000 to 10,000 MW electricity would be added in national grid soon, adding that the government has taken measures to decrease difference between demand and supply in the country. Abid said PML-N believed in the politics of serving the masses through its agenda of development and prosperity. He said there was no single corruption case came on surface during the tenure of PML-N government, adding that former president Pervez Musharraf and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) during their tenure levelled baseless corruption charges against the PML-N but they were failed to prove it.
Replying to a question, he said PML-N would also win the general elections 2018 by its performance and visionary leadership as it is the most popular party among the masses. The minister said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has failed to serve the masses in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. Replying to another query, he said people of Azad Kashmir had rejected the PTI and PPP policies in the area and they should learn a lesson from this defeat.
