IHC Adjourns Case Seeking Ban On Liquor

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jan, 2017 ) : The Islamabad High Court on Wednesday adjourned the case seeking permanent ban on issuing all kinds of liquor permits, its consumption, storage and sale purchase in name of Christians / non Muslims, till January 30.
Justice Mohsan Akhtar Kayani adjourned the case filed by a Christian community representative Joseph Masih resident of the capital through Yasir Chaudhry Advocate. Joseph took the plea that taking liquor was strictly prohibited in Bible. Moreover, the Christians community avoids its consumption and sought abolition of this menace from the society by imposing complete ban over it.
