3 Held For Having Fake Currency

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jan, 2017 ) : Islamabad police Wednesday arrested three youngsters for having fake Currency worth Rs 70,000, a police spokesman said. Station House Officer Tarnol Inspector Qasim Niazi along with Sub-Inspector Abdul Waheed checked a car and recovered fake currency from Abdullah, Kaleem and Saad Khalid, he said.

He said further investigation was underway after registration of a case under sections 489-B/489-C against them. It is worth mentioning here that an eployee of a filling station informed the police regarding the fake currency holders.

Meanwhile, Aabpara police recovered 32 bore pistol from an accused Adnan Masih while Kohsar police nabbed Osama Javed and Atif Aslam for having dagger and 560 gram hashish respectively.

Shalimar police arrested Nnachiricky and Qaisar Mehmud for having 290 gram hashish.

Khana police arrested Yunus Masih for having 10 liter liquor while another person Aslam was held for decanting gas in cylinders illegally. Nilore police arrested Abid and Aamir for their alleged involvement in theft case. Cases had been registered against nabbed persons and further investigation was underway, he added.
