DC For Beautification Of City Chowks

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jan, 2017 ) : Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chathha on Wednesday directed officials concerned to prepare a feasibility report to beautify different chowks of the city to promote tourism.
Multan is over 5,000-year-old city which has a good number of historical buildings.
Talking to members of the Walled City project team, including Director Technical Masood Bukhari and senior architect Khalid Chohan, he said Multan had good potential to attract tourists not only from country but abroad also.
Earlier, the officials informed him about pace of "Rung Doo Multan" campaign in which different buildings are being coloured to beautify the city. Nadir Chathha directed them to colour buildings of the interior city which are visible from Damdama, a recreational point with significant height at the Fort Qasim.
