Boeing sees higher 2017 plane deliveries as earnings jump

NEW YORK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jan, 2017 ) - Boeing projected Wednesday higher commercial aircraft deliveries in 2017 compared with last year as it reported a 59 percent jump in fourth-quarter earnings to $1.6 billion.

Boeing said it expects commercial deliveries of between 760 and 765 aircraft this year, up from 748 in 2016. Deliveries are tied to revenues and closely monitored by Wall Street. Shares rose 1.5 percent in pre-market trade to $162.90.
