Over 400,000 Children Administered Polio Drops

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Over 400,000 children of up to five years' of age have been administered polio drops during the first three days of the ongoing anti-polio drive in the metropolis. An official said Commissioner Karachi, Ejaz Ahmed Khan, visited Karachi's Korangi area on the fourth day of the drive on Thursday.
He said the commissioner visited various localities and saw the working of the polio teams. Prior to that, he presided over a meeting at the control room, it was further stated and highlighted the significance of the polio drive and urged the parents to ensure that their children are administered polio drops as this would help save them from such a crippling disease.
