Minister Pays Surprise Visit To THQ Hospital Chak Jhumra

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jan, 2017 ) : Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Khawaja Imran Nazir paid a surprise visit to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Chak Jhumra, District Faisalabad in midnight of Tuesday.
The Minister took a round of different parts of the hospital. He inspected washrooms and reviewed cleanliness condition in the hospital. Kh. Imram Nazir directed the hospital administration to further improve cleanliness especially in toilets.
The minister also inquired after the patients and asked them about the provision of free medicines and other facilities. There was not a single complaint regarding provision of medicines and all male and female patients expressed their satisfaction over the supply of medicines and other facilities.
Kh. Imran Nazir inspected pathological lab as well. The Lab technician found keeping the used blood bags and other disposables in the refrigerator on which Kh.Imran Nazir took serious notice of that practise and directed to issue show cause notice to the official on his negligence.
Kh.Imran Nazir also expressed his satisfaction and appreciated the hospital administration and the staff about the overall performance of the hospital particularly free provision of medicines to the patients and no complaint regarding medical cover from the patients.
