Governor Appreciates Welfare Services Of Dil Jan Foundation

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jan, 2017 ) : Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra while appreciating the welfare services of Dil Jan Foundation, a volunteer organization to help the needy and deserving citizens has described it a welcoming contribution towards wellbeing of the society.

He was addressing as chief guest at a ceremony held under the auspices of Dil Jan Foundation at a hotel in Peshawar. MNA, Ghalib Khan; Chairman Dil jan Foundation, Dil Jan Khan, who also is the Ex-IGP; Chairman of Hashwani Group, Sadaruddin Hashwani; Director of the London Chapter of Dil Jan Foundation, Qazi Fazal-e-Ali; former provincial minister, Syed Zahir Ali Shah and former IGP, Abbas Khan were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor described the welfare services of the Dil Jan Foundation highly valuable for ensuring wellbeing of the deserving people and said that mitigating the miseries of the ailing humanity is not only our moral and civic responsibility but also a religious duty.

"We need to spare some amount out of our personal resources to help the needy people," Governor remarked.

The Governor also announced a grant of Rs five million for welfare activities of the Dil Jan Foundation.

Meanwhile Dil Jan Khan presented a detailed resume of the services which the Diljan Foundation has been rendering. Chairman Hashwani Group, Sadaruddin Hashwani, who specially came to Peshawar for attending the function from Dubai, announced a donation of Rs five million for Dil Jan Foundation.

Sadaruddin Hashwani is the major supporter of Dil Jan Foundation. Sadaruddin Hashwani urged people to donate a specific share of their earnings for the welfare of downtrodden and deserving people.

He said islam lays very strong stress on fulfilling rights of people and for this we have to extend helping hand towards needy people. He said his foundation is donating 10 percent of its earning for welfare activities.

He also held out assurance of full cooperation and support to Dil Jan Foundation for the help of needy people. Impressed by the achievements of the Foundation, a number of philanthropists present on the occasion promised to provide handsome amount to carry forward its activities.#
