'Govt Taking Practical Steps For Promotion Of Education'

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jan, 2017 ) : Pakistan Muslim League-N MPA Muhammad Ali Khokhar said the Punjab government was taking practical steps for promotion of education. Addressing a ceremony at Raza Hall, he said the Punjab government strongly believed in provision of quality education to all including children of minorities and practical measures were being taken in this regard.

He also distributed cheques among students of minorities. Speaking on the occasion, MPA Shoukat Bosan said that education was key to put the country on way leading to progress and prosperity. The role of minorities was of vital importance for uplift of the country, he said and added the government was providing facilities to students hailing from minorities.

Local politicians of PML-N, a good number of students and teachers were also present.
