Hong Kong stocks end morning marginally higher

HONG KONG, , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jan, 2017 ) - Hong Kong stocks ended the morning slightly higher Monday but early advances were pared as investors tread nervously while waiting for Donald Trump to provide details of his plans for the US economy.

The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.06 percent, or 13.05 points, to 22,898.96. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.34 percent, or 10.47 points, to 3,133.61 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.81 percent, or 15.33 points, to 1,901.11.
