Mayor Karachi Urges CM Sindh To Help Solve City Issues

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jan, 2017 ) : The Mayor of Karachi, Wasim Akhtar, has urged the Sindh Government accused to solve civic issues and help Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) to address citizen's woes.
He asked the Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah seriously address issues in Karachi or else he will move the court to get relief. Mayor of Karachi stated this during his visit to GTex International B2B Textile Machinery Brands Expo on Saturday.
CEO Global Enterprise Mujib R. Siddiqi, Director Sohail Aziz, General Manager Ghousia, Zohaib Mujib, Naeemuddin of United Machinery and other officials were also present on this occasion. Wasim Akhtar said that Sindh government should address the issues faced by the Karachiites and support KMC to solve citizen's grievances.
"City and roads can be cleaned if sindh government lends us its support," he maintained. Fire brigade department is facing problems and does not have enough funds to purchase fire extinguishing foam and uniforms.
"City has become a garbage dumping station. This is last eight years mismanagement by Pakistan Peoples Party and Sindh government as they appointed administrators to run city affairs," he maintained. Appreciating efforts of Global Enterprise, he said GTex expo is very encouraging for business opportunities and industries in city are reviving.
