MUZAFFARABAD (Pakistan Point News - APP - 20th Jan, 2017 ) , Jan 20 (APP): Six persons of a family were killed and one child was grievously injured when a speedy car skidded off the road and fell into deep ravine at Chanari town, located on ancient Muzaffarabad-Srinagar highway, about 70 KM from AJK's capital city Friday evening, an official said. The ill-fated vehicle (IDP - 7173), with three men, two women and a child on board, was on way from AJK's forward town of Chakothi to adjoining Jhelum Valley (Hattiyan Bala) district when it fell into deep gorge along the Jhelum river, Commissioner Muzaffarabad Division Muhammad Tayyeb told APP over telephone.
All of six passengers, who died on the spot, were identified as Yasir Ahmed and Aneeq Ahmed, sons of Muhammad Sadiq, Noureen Bibi wife of Muhammad Sadiq, Zeb son of Shabir, Aroosa Bibi wife of Yasir Ahmed. The injured child was identified as Musnain son of Muhammad Shabir, he said. The injured kid was shifted to nearby hospital where his condition is stated to be critical. Bodies were immediately recovered from the ditch.
