German Safety Body Ordered To Pay 60mn Euros To Breast Implant

TOULON, France, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2017 ) - A French court on Friday ordered German safety body TUV to pay 60 million Euros ($64 million) in compensation to 20,000 women who received defective breast implants certified as safe for use.
The court found TUV liable over a global scandal which erupted in 2010 involving implants filled with industrial-grade silicone.
