DG Khan Police Get Training On Computerized Complaint Redressal System

DERA GHAZI KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2017 ) : Police officers attended a two-day workshop concluded here Friday wherein they were given training on how the POLCOM, a modern computerized system, composed of latest communication hardware and software, operates to swiftly attend and respond to public complaints at different levels.
Addressing the officers at the conclusion of the workshop, Regional Police Officer Rehmatullah Khan Niazi said the modern system had been introduced to computerise the record of police stations and to monitor the complaints of the public at all stages.
The RPO said the Complaint Management System and Police Record Management System would help evaluate the performance of investigations officers.
He added that the training of police officers included computerized registration of FIRs, identification of accused and application of IR system to point out the accused.
DPO Dera Ghazi Khan Captain (R) Ata Muhammad, DPO Layyah Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Zia, SP Investigations DG Khan Sajjad Hussain Gujjar, and other police officers were given training by senior programme manager of Punjab Information Technology board (PITB) Punjab Police Muhammad Qasim Bhatti, software engineer Faizaan Ahmad, sub-inspector Muhammad Hanif, and Head Constable Haroon Ahmad.
