FOS Director Listens Complaints

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july,2016) : Federal Ombudsman Secretariat (FOS) Director Abdul Rasheed on Thursday listened to complaints of people about federal departments. He listened 27 complaints against Gepco, SNGPL, FBR and State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan and issued notices to Shakargarh based two Gepco meter-readers for over reading.
Talking to media persons, he said the Ombudsman Secretariat had already started successful implementation on a pilot project for providing early and easy justice to people regarding their complaints. He added that the pilot project would soon be extended to tehsil and union council level for speedy justice and relief to complainants within a stipulated period of 15 days.
He added that this was the speedy way to provide justice to people in the country which would help to improve performance of government departments and the masses confidence on government departments as well. He said the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat was also resolving issues, problems and complaints being lodged by overseas Pakistanis as special complaints counters had been established at airports in the country to provide early relief to overseas Pakistanis.
