14POs Among 221 Suspects Held, 44 KG Hashish Seized

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2017 ) : The police has intensified crackdown against anti social elements and drug peddlers by arresting 221 suspects including 14 proclaimed offenders (POs) in different areas of the city.

According to police, search and strike operation was conducted in the limits of city, cantonment, rural and sadder circles police stations from where 221 anti social elements including 14 POs wanted to police in various heinous nature crimes were apprehended.

The police also arrested 39 persons for violating laws against billion ridding in the city and sent them to jails. Two Kalashnikovs, three repeaters, on each rifle and gun, 20 pistols and 346 rounds besides 44 kilograms hashish and 12 bottle of liquor were also seized.
