School For Special Children Inaugurated In Mardan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2017 ) : Construction work on a school for special children in Mazdoorabad area of Takht Bhai tehsil in Mardan was inaugurated. Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Iftikhar Mashwani was the chief guest.

He said that special children are entitled to all rights which are enjoyed by normal children,reported private news channel.

He said the construction of the school for deaf and dumb children will cost Rs22.9 million and it will be completed within one year.

Jehanzeb Salik, head of Salik Foundation, a welfare organisation, donated two kanals land for the school. "Well off people send their special children to Peshawar or other districts for education. However, the disabled children of poor people were deprived from education. We are making efforts to provide education to every disabled child," he said.
