Several Villages Inundated After High Level Flood In Sialkot

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july,2016) : Several areas in Sialkot have been inundated due to high level flood in Nullah Palkhu, Nullah Dek and Nullah Aik on Thursday. According to details, the intermittent rain in Sialkot city has badly disrupted the daily routine as Nullah Aik and Nullah Palkhu are witnessing intensive flood, Private news channel reported.
The flood water has destroyed crops and houses while the areas of Neeka Pura, Nizampura, Pasrur Road, Gopalpur, Jodhay Wali, Raipur and Saidanwali have also been swamped in the water. The flood relief camps established by local administration have also been demolished due to severe rain devastation. Earlier, Met office predicted new spell of monsoon in parts of country till Thursday. The authorities had also warned the district managements to take precautionary measure as the rain may cause flooding in low- lying areas.
