ITA Jr Players To Train In Khanna Tennis Academy

ISLAMABAD,(APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july,2016) : The Islamabad Tennis Association's (ITA) junior tennis players have been invited for training and coaching at the Khanna Tennis academy in New Delhi.
According to an ITA official a team of emerging junior tennis players was selected from K21 sports club and Model Town, Lahore which has been invited for training and coaching in New Delhi. The squad includes five players.
The players and officials include Hasan Said (Manager); Maha Said, Muhammad Said, Bilal Asim, Adil Ali Khan, Abdul Sami (Player) and Mrs. Sobia Asim (Parent). The camp is underway in New Delhi and will continue till next month.
The players will return on August 12. The invitation for training has been extended by the President Asian Tennis Federation Anil Khanna to the patron of the Pakistan Tennis Federation and Senior Vice President, Asian Tennis Federation Syed Dilawar Abbas and President Islamabad Tennis Association, Tariq Mehmood Murtaza.
Under the patronage of Anil Khanna, the Delhi Tennis Association has arranged for the training and lodging of the players at the Khanna Tennis Academy. This step has been taken to extend the cooperation between the tennis federations of the two South Asian countries and to ensure their representation at global stage.
