PESHAWAR, (Pakistan Point News - APP - 18th Jan, 2017 ) : As many as 82 families comprising 372 individuals of temporarily displaced persons (TDPs) who fled to Afghanistan after military operation have returned home from Khost province of Afghanistan. The returning TDPs belong to Pai Khel and Muhammad Khel villages of Tehsil Datta Khel in North Waziristan Agency (NWA). The TDPs families included 73 men, 94 women, 112 boys and 95 girls, political authority of NWA confirmed the figure and return of TDPs from Afghanistan.
According to sources hundreds of tribal families had fled to bordering Afghanistan areas to avoid damages to their families during the military operations against militants. An official at office of political administration NWA told APP that families of TDPs are returning on daily basis from Afghanistan and said it is a continuous process and to be completed in couple of weeks.
