Four Terrorists Killed During Encounter

SHEIKHUPURA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2017 ) : Four terrorists, wanted by Punjab Police in more than 270 murder cases, were killed during an encounter with Counter Terrorism Department on Faisalabad-Bypass road, here on Tuesday night.

According to CTD sources, CTD police received information that some terrorists were going on Faisalabad-Bypass road near cattle market. To which, a team of CTD police started to chase them. Seeing police, terrorists opened firing at the team which led to a cross firing.

As a result, four terrorists - Asif alias Chhotu, Shakirullah Khan, Noorul Ameen and an unidentified terrorist - were killed while their three accomplices fled from the scene.

Terrorist Asif alias Chhotu, carrying a head money of Rs 3 million, was involved in more than 200 murder cases; terrorist Shakirullah Khan, having head money of Rs 1 million, was involved in 50 murder cases; terrorist Noorul Ameen, with a head money of Rs 1 million, was involved in murder of inspector Raja Saqlain in Rawalpindi and other 30 murder cases.

CTD police also recovered 2 motorcycles, 2 kalashnikovs, 2 pistols, 3 kg explosives, hand grenade and thousands of rounds from the killed terrorists. The killed terrorists belonged to a banned organization.
