ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News - APP - 17th Jan, 2017 ) : Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday summoned two senior officials of law enforcement agencies in a case of a missing citizen. Justice Mohsan Akhtar Khan Kayani of IHC heard the case of a missing citizen Nouman Abbas filed by his family seeking his recovery. Nauman had disappeared from Islamabad about eight months ago. During proceeding, the bench expressed displeasure over the non recovery of Nouman Abbas and observed that a citizen had disappeared from Pakistan and the department concerned could not locate him so far.
It was the incapability of law enforcement agencies, the court noted. Justice Mohsan Akhtar Khan Kiyani directed the two senior officials of the department concerned to appear before the court on next date of hearing and submit their reply. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till February 3, 2017. It may be mentioned here that Nouman Abbas was held by unknown armed persons on May 9, 2016 when he was staying at his in-laws in jurisdiction of Sihala Police Station. APP/wsj/azm
