Orientation Day To Be Held At SSUET On Wednesday

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2017 ) : Arrangements have been finalized for the traditional "Orientation Day" organized for Batch 2017 of newly admitted students of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET).
An official of the institution said here on Tuesday that the Orientation program will be held on January 18 at 10 a.m. at Expo Centre. The orientation program was arranged for newly admitted students to apprise them about the engineering disciplines they opted for their future career.
The day's salient feature was mainly the address to students by Chancellor Sir Syed University Jawaid Anwar besides speeches by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Jawaid H.
Rizvi and Dean Faculty of Engineering.
The Chairmen of various departments will apprise the new entrants about their respective academic fields. According to the university notification the regular classes for first semester will commence from January 19 and for the rest of the batches of 2014, 2015 and 2016 from January 23.
The SSUET's planning and development departments has carried out renovation work to welcome the new entrants.
