ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2017 ) : Former Information Secretary for Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Akbar S. Babar Monday said PTI chief Imran Khan was involved in money laundering and corruption of charity donations.
Talking to ptv, he said Imran Khan had collected charity on awarding tickets to his party leaders including Aleem Khan, adding that Imran had no interest to get vote from the people but wanted charity.
Akbar S. Babar said that he had filed a petition in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against corruption of Imran Khan.
The ECP had directed the lawyer of PTI to present party records in the party's fund case, he added.
He said PTI had not submitted any documented evidence regarding charity funds in ECP. He claimed the PTI chief had collected charity for Shaukat Khannum Hospital from America amounting to 3 million Dollars in an illegal way. He asked why Imran Khan was silent if he was not involved in charity corruption.
