301 Suspects Arrested In Search & Strike Operation

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2017 ) : Capital City Police arrested 301 suspects including 107 proclaimed offenders (POs), criminals and drug sellers in search and strike operation against criminals and anti-social elements in city, cantonment, rural and saddar circles police station.

The police also arrested heavy cache of weapons, narcotics and liquor bottles from their possesion. 72 persons were arrested for violation of the Protection of Houses Ordinance while 36 were taken into custody for pillion ridding.

The strike and search operation conducted on the directives of the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Mohammad Tahir Khan under the supervision of the SSP Operations, Sajjad Khan in the jurisdiction of the city, cantonment, rural and saddar circles police stations was also participated by lady police, BDU and sniffer dogs.

During the operation a total of 301 suspects including 107 proclaimed offenders wanted in heinous crimes, drug sellers and violators of pillion ridders. The police also recovered 35 pistols, 3 riffles, 2 repeators, 615 cartridges. 18 kilogram charas, one kilogram heroin and 46 bottles of liquor.
