More Than 12 Drug Peddlers Nabbed

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2017 ) : More than 12 drug peddlers have been arrested during ongoing campaign against drugs and drug peddlers in educational institutions. The special campaign has been launched as per directions of Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan who also ordered District Administration to initiate a concerted campaign against use of narcotics.
As per details, Islamabad Police, Capital Territory Administration Islamabad and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted joint operation around Bheeka Saeedan and Mera Abadi. The operation was conducted in supervision of ADCG Sattar Essani, SP Saddar Zeeshan Haider and AC Saddar Ali Asghar.
Sattar Essani told APP here on Monday that more operations would be conducted in different areas of Capital to get rid of this menace. During operation, 200 houses were searched and accused were arrested.
From their possession bottles of liquor, hashish, heroin, opium and bikes were recovered. Ch. Nisar had said action should be taken against those involved in drugs trafficking and it should be expanded to rural and adjoining areas of Islamabad.
