Shehbaz, Fedkiw Discuss Pak-US Relations

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jan, 2017 ) : Consul General USA Yuriy Fedkiw here Saturday called on Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and discussed with him matters of mutual interest including Pak-US relations and expending cooperation in different fields.

On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that PAK-US relations, expanded over many decades, were multi-dimensional and would further expand in near future. Chief Minister said, Pakistan was progressing fast under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, as was dreamt by Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.

He said that commendable achievements have been made in different fields in the PML-N government's tenue and Pakistan was now more self-reliant economically and peaceful. Today, he said, Pakistan was heralding development, peace, prosperity and development, asserting, "We are committed to develop our society as most tolerant and peaceful." US Consul General Yuriy Fedkiw said that America gave great importance to its relations with Pakistan.

He commended the fast completion of different development projects and said that public service vision of Shehbaz Sharif was praise- worthy.
