4 children injured as toy bomb goes off near LoC

MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jan, 2017 ) , Jan 13 (APP): At least four children, including three real brother and sisters were injured when a toy bomb went off in forward village Dhanger, about 15 kilometer away from Athmuqam DHQ, close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Neelam Valley of Azad Jammu Kashmir on Friday.

"The toy bomb were reportedly lobbed by the Indian troops from across the Line of Control to this side of the defecto border in the forward Neelam valley which has only a river (Neelam) distance at the LoC between Azad Jammu Kashmir and Indian occupied Kashmir", Incharge Officer of Neelam Valley Police Control Room told APP during a telephonic conservation on the issue.

The injured kids were identified as Muhammad Khalil (10) son of Ghulam Hussain and his two sisters including Uzma Bibi (5) and Misbah (2) and Safiyan son of Ghulam Rasool. The innocent kids were playing outside their home when they found and touched the device in form of a toy which instantly exploded with a big bang leaving all the four kids injured grievously.

All the injured kids were shifted to the local hospital at Jhamber where their condition was stated to be critical. It was the fourth incident of explosion of toy bombs in the area reported lobbed by the Indian troops from across the LoC.
