NA Body Expresses Concern Over Lack Of Technical Facilities At PCP

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jan, 2017 ) : National Assembly Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat on Friday expressed grave concern over lack of technical facilities and proper machinery at Printing Corporation of Pakistan (PCP).
The committee which met here under chairmanship of Member National Assembly, Rana Muhammad Hayat Khan, raised objection on obsolete condition of machinery and lack of trained staff at PCP. He directed the government to take appropriate steps in the corporation making it a profitable unit.
The committee directed that Cabinet Division may move a summary regarding provision of financial assistance to PCP so that it could take them at appropriate forum for their amicable solution. The committee expressed dissatisfaction over poor result of CSS Examination last year as only two percent students were able to pass the examination.
The NA body directed the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to determine reasons of decline in percentage of pass students and come up with the proposals so that talented students could pass the CSS Examination in future.
The meeting was attended by Members National Assembly (MNAs), Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, Sardar Mansib Ali Dogar, Malik Ibrar Ahmed, Dr.Mehreen Razzaq Bhutto, Parveen Masood Bhatti, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Nafeesa Inayatullah Khan Khattak, Shehnaz Saleem, Nighat Parveen Mir, Seema Muhiuddin Jameeli, Sardar Muhammad Irfan Dogar, Farhana Qamar, Roshan Din Junejo and senior officers of the concerned Ministries/departments.
