CM Approves Purchase Of Laptops For Talented Students

(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jan, 2017) Sharif has accorded approval to purchase laptops for endowed students and directed to complete its process at the earliest. He said motivation and enthusiasm behind this scheme was to help students rise above problems and hurdles they faced in their path to gain knowledge and excel professionally.
"Laptops distribution is carried out purely at merit basis not only to encourage the talented youth but also to increase the quality and scope of education in our country and to spread awareness among individuals about using information technology," he added.
According to a handout, the Chief Minister said progress of a nation depended highly on the investment at its youth as this investment always returned high rates of output and this realization had made the Punjab government to take remarkable initiatives for empowering youth by encouraging them on their talents as awarding them with laptops and other facilities as recognition.
