ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News - APP - 12th Jan, 2017 ) : Rawalpindi Region, Karachi Region Blues, Karachi Region White and Islamabad Region earned victories on Thursday in the round three of the National One Day Cup-Regions. Rawalpindi Region beat Peshawar Region by 8 wickets at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi. Batting first Peshawar Region scored 180 for 10 in 42.4 overs. Khalid Usman 66, Israr Ullah 49, Akbar Badshah 22 batted well. In reply, Rawalpindi Region attainted the target (183 for 2) in 30.

5 overs. Naved Malik 83 not out, Sohaib Maqsood 65 played well. The match was reduced to 43 overs due to wet out field. Karachi Region Blues beat Lahore Region White by five wickets at Marghazar Ground, Islamabad. Batting first Lahore Region White scored 180 runs for 10 in 33.5 overs. Imam-ul-Haq 38, Umer Saddique 34, Usman Sallahuddin 26, Umaid Asif 24 batted well. In reply, Karachi Region Blues aachieved the target (183 for 5) in 33.4 overs.

Khurram Manzoor 77 not out, Saud Shakeel 67 played well. The match was reduced to 46 overs due to wet out field. Karachi Region White beat Lahore Region Blues by 70 runs at KRL Stadium, Rawalpindi. Karachi Region White scored 240 runs in 45.2 overs. Anwar Ali 67, Shahzaib Hasan 49, Muhammad Hassan 37, Tariq Haroon 33 batted well. In reply, Lahore Region Blues were all out on 170 runs. Raza Ali Dar 49 not, Salman Ali Agha 30 played well. For Karachi Region White, Danish Aziz 3 for 28, Tabish Khan 3 for 34 and Azam Hussain 2 for 29 bagged wickets.

The match was reduced to 46 overs due to wet out field. Islamabad Region beat FATA Region by three wickets at Diamond Ground, Islamabad. FATA Region scored 266 for 6 in 43 overs. Khushdil Shah 108, Asif Ali 57 not out, Fawad Khan 31, Muhammad Irfan 29 batted well. In reply, Islamabad Region achieved the target (270 for 7) in 43 overs. Faizan Riaz 51, Zohaib Ahmed 48 not out, Sarmad Bhatti 49, Abid Ali 39, Shahid Yousaf 31 played well. The match was reduced to 43 overs due to wet out field.
