ISLAMABAD,(Pakistan Point News - APP - 27th july,2016) : Rain-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls are expected at a number of places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions, KP, Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir. Downpour is also likely at scattered places in Bahawalpur, D.G khan, Multan, Zhob, Kalat, Nasirabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan. Light rain is also forecasted along Sindh-Makran coast.
Seasonal low lies over northeast-Balochistan and its adjoining area, with its trough extending south eastward. Good monsoon currents are penetrating over upper and central parts of the country. A westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the country and is likely to persist for next 02 to 03 days, an official of Met office told APP. In last 24 hours rain-thunderstorm occurred at number of places in upper Punjab, KP, Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Balochistan.
